Concept One “SCW” kits are for low hood line small-block applications such as Corvettes, Camaros, muscle cars, classic trucks, classic Chevrolets (will not work on 1957 Chevrolets with stock battery mounting position…use “SCH” kit), and some street rods/machines. They come with or without power steering and fit either long or corvette-short pump applications. This kit requires the use of a Sanden airconditioning compressor, if air conditioned, located on the passenger side and a GM alternator is subsequently mounted on the driver’s side. All power steering pumps are mounted on the lower driver’s side and a remote reservoir is standard. The provided KRC performance power steering pump is compatible with most OEM and aftermarket steering boxes (power steering hoses are not provided, however feature standard and readily available AN connections).

Concept One pulley and bracket conversion kits are for the modern conversion of original, restored, customized and classic, automobiles and trucks. These high are performance kits derived from proven racing applications and feature an “overdrive” design to enhance cooling and electrical charging capacity for the street use. They are the most reliable, trouble free technology that is available in today’s high performance markets. The application of these kits include street rods, muscle cars, street machines, classics, originals, trucks, low-riders, Corvettes, custom cars and other specialty autos.
Concept One kits are complete solutions that provide pulleys, brackets, water and power steering pumps, remote reservoir, belts, and all mounting hardware in one turnkey package. The kits are specifically designed for Chevrolet, small block, short or long water pump applications, with or without power steering, and with or without air conditioning. All the kits, except for the single-serpentine, street rod kit, are designed for use with two Goodyear OEM lifetime warranty serpentine belts.
Concept One kits are designed for use on high performance street applications up to 6500rpms (tested to 7000rpms) and are derived from race-proven technology. The kits are CNC milled from quality, billet T6 aluminum, the belts are state-of-the-art Goodyear OEM belts. All kits include brackets, pulleys, mounting hardware, belts, power steering (if selected) and water pumps, air conditioning pulley cover, alternator pulley with fan and cover. Kits are available in either diamond-cut machine or polished finishes.
Concept One “SC” kits require a small block Chevrolet engine with accessory hole type heads, use of a standard GM long pump, supplied special Tuff-Stuff pumps or an Edelbrock pump, a compatible power steering box for use with our specially designed and built KRC power steering pump with remote reservoir (i.e. 605 box), the use of a Sanden air conditioning compressor (508/5H14, R12/134 with 7 groove serpentine clutch/rotor Sanden number 6520-6010…not supplied with kit) where applicable. These kits do not work with stock GM air conditioning systems and are not guaranteed to be dimensionally compatible with any other power steering or water pumps applications. Some tall valve covers may not fit. The alternator pulley, bracket and cover(s) are designed for the standard/aftermarket GM alternators. The kits do work with spacers and fans for mechanical cooling applications except for the street rod kit, which we recommend an electric fan application only.

Any alteration, improper installation, misuse, abuse, damage, or misapplication will result in voiding the warranty of all parts involved. We do not warranty the finishes. All warranty claims are determined and reconciled at the sole discretion of the manufacturer. We are not responsible or liable for failure of any part(s) or circumstances arising from the failure of any parts of kits.
