from Gary Schrader "I received my order [PRC 1955 Tri-5 system]last week and everything was fine. If you remember, I was the one who was worried about room between my serpentine system on my big block 55 and the SPAL fans. Well, there was absolutely no room for the fans to be installed on the backside of the support. After hours of trying to move the fans around and even taking them apart, I wound up having to move the fans between the radiator and the support. I used 1/4" spacer between the fan and support brackets and a 1" spacer between the radiator and support. By moving everything forward I gained 1/2" clearance between the fan motors and serpentine pulleys. I will now have to modify the support rods on each corner of the hood in order to clear the radiator corners. Also have to modify the hood latch in front of the condensor. The pictures show some of what I did to make everything clear. If it wasn't for having a big block with a serpentine pulley system it would have all fit with no problems. Just thought you might like this information in case another customer had the same situation I had. I'm really impressed with the setup and it looks great setting in the car. All I have left to do is install it and hook everything back up.

The car is running cool at 180 most of the time. When idling in the garage, the temp creeps up to about 195 and then the fan kicks on and cools it back down to about 180 just like its supposed to. The recovery tank is working real well. Just like you said, I had some coolant come out of the vent tube on the first fill of the system. But since that intial run, not a drop has come out. The fan is quite a bit nosier than I expected, but I guess that is normal? Anyway, I am real happy with everything and the quality is excellent. Thanks."

I`ve been welding for about 20 years now...mostly MIG and stick, but the TIG work on the radiator is like no other. The only time I see welds like them are the ones that computers do.
When I received my radiator , it turned out to be the wrong one, I contacted Dick, who had forwarded the message to Duane, (at PRC), and in turn Duane contacted me. He had another one being made up and sent as we spoke on the phone...he couldn`t have apoligized enough. I told him I understand what its like to run a business.
I told the members of my club and 4 of them will be placing an order within the next 3 months...especially after I told them the price.
In closing I just want to say thanks again Dick, and the guys at PRC.
