Dash Plaques or Hat Pins

Car show time is just around the corner. How many rodders collect dash plaques?
The guys i run with are putting on another show and were wondering if rodders would either have dash plaques or hat pins this year.
So SRS'ers what would you guys/gals like to see?

Myself,I prefer a dash plague. At the end of the rodding season I arrange them on a nice stained piece of wood I get at a craft store, and hang on the wall of the shop.

I have always liked the dash plaques, especially since I started realizing you can turn'em around and polish the aluminum for a quick switch panel face or other fab needs! (only the ugly designed ones!) I have what used to be a useful blackboard in the garage stuck full of the nice ones on display.

I'd vote for dash plaques. The unique designs are cool. I've been "collecting" them for years.....in a drawer on one of my toolboxes. I've been going to mount them on a board one of these days but never seem to get around to it. If I do mount them, I don't know where I'd hang the board. All the available wall space in the garage is taken up with parts, tools, shelves, and vintage calendars. Maybe I just came up with an excuse to build a bigger shop! :-)

DASH PLAQUES PLEASE : I paste magnetic tape on the back any put them on tool boxes refrigeraters ice chests bow ties that are cut out of scrap metal blue ovals and change them when I get tired of them. ALSO while I'm at it let's get GOOD stuff in goodie bags . I'm tired of pens pencils note pads and coupons that that I'd have to stay over an extra day or two or make another trip back to use. R P

Dash Plaques: You can look at them at different times and remember the new friends you made at the different rod runs.

I lean toward the plaques. But biggest reward is just being there and joining in on the fun.

I like dash plaques myself. The neat ones have a cabinet all to their own.The so-so ones are stuck up everywhere.I would like to add that I prefer wall plaques over trophies any
day. Some times if the show has trophies I don't stay for the awards.Who whats a junk trophy that you have to dust. When I moved I brought the plaques and the trophies are still in Ohio...Ray
