Removing headlight lenses

I answered my own question. Ever have a dilemma, that in the end, you can't beleive how simple it was.(or, how stupid you were) I was having difficulty removing headlight lenses from 34 Plymouth buckets. I couldn't push them in far enough to turn them, and remove them. I gave up, and decided to remove the stands, and start re- assembling the new buckets I got. Before I put the old one down, I thought, "what's this screw for?" LOW AND BEHOLD, A TENSIONER!!!! DUH. Easy removal if you just take your time, and think things through a little, rather than think, "where'd I put that ball bat?" SO, problem solved. I installed a Halogen kit, and all is well. I only wasted a week trying to get those darn lenses out!

You can't call it a wasted week. It's called going to the school of hard knocks, you learned something new. Congradulations; you are now promoted to the next project. I usually waste a few green backs before the light bulb comes on. R P Peggys other half
