Jim, it was most certainly our pleasure to have your '32 in the running and believe me - the voting was very close!

Also, the winner has been posted on the Studio page, so check it out!

Congratulations Steve, nice car. It looks like its well built and a lot of fun. I'm a busted up old harley rider that shouldn't ride a bike anymore and a roadster looks like a fun way to stay "in the wind". Maybe someday....

George.....thanks for the good words. It's a fun car and I can just barely fit in.....I have to fold my left foot and leg behind my throttle leg, but fun nevertheless.

Are you going to Indy this year? It is going to get real crowded.....early registration is way up.

I know what a tight fit is. Try my truck on for size sometime. :^)

Yup, I'm registered for Indy and got my room. Its my favorite goodguys show in this part of the country. Been thinking of running in the streetrod shootout just for the fun of it. See ya there.

Well gang...thanks for all the cuddos on my ride. It is a real trip to have my car recognized world wide! What an honor and great job on Jason's part for inventing the contest. Thanks Jason, I didn't even know that I had won until he notified me, and it was the best moment that car has received even though it was a real head turner and consistent event winner. I have been soooooo busy with a new business and redoing my wife's Camaro (more than I thought it was going to be) and haven't spent much time online really (that's my excuse and I'm stick'en to it). But thanks to you all for the great comments and the votes that made it that way. I can't wipe the smile off my face.

Now for the sad news! I am going to sell it. I have too many cars and projects to keep afloat. The roadster is my most fun car...but the Camaro will be my beater, just like the roadster. I can't believe I am going to do it...but I must move on to another project behind it. After the Camaro is finished in a month or so, I have to start looking for my project for next winter (most likely a 33/34 converible or maybe a Vicky)....and I need the room and $$ to play this great and fun game. A friend of mine locally wants it real bad, and he has agreed to pay me copious amounts of GWs (that's George Washingtons) to get it (I think the recognition that it had here made him want it reeeaaal bad). As we all know, this market can be real fickle and to make a decision to sell and have an on the spot buyer at the amount you want is rare. I have to take the opportunity to jump at it now....I have to say goodbye to it by the end of the month. Boo...Hooo! I will miss the 0-100mph romps eating up Mustangs, Camaros, Vettes and better yet, the guys with their noses in the air in their Mercedes and Porches!! I just love waving goodbye to those guys after a heart accellerating blast to 100+ (of course they give up too easily, and don't know that I won't push it past 110 and they would eat me alive!!.....but they are too badly beat the first 100 yards that they find the quickest exit to not have to pull up to me at the next opportunity...hehehe!

I will look forward to seeing all of you at Goodguy or NSRA (don't let the boss know that I actually uddered those four letters...and Deuce 32..don't tell please) events all over. I will be attending the Orando, Indy, Columbus, Rhinebeck, Texas, and Charlotte events this year of Goodguys. I will be at the NSRA Nat south and Frogfollies and Pigeon Forge Shades as well. Can't wait to see and greet you all.
