OK I need an opinion, I have the straight 6 out of my Ranchero. I know the car came from the factory with a 289. What is the biggest thing I could easily stuff in there? 351? Bigger? Is the 351 the same block as the 289/302?

351 Winsor will fit. Anything bigger turns into a big job. A mild 351W will run real strong. I'd go with that. Nothing wrong with a 302. What kind of performance are you after? What rear end are you going to run?

.or get one of PAW's kits to turn a 351W into a 427 ;)
if ya got 4 bolt wheels, i've got a pair of 5 bolt spindles/drums/backing plates......
