New guy in town...
by El Caballo
Posted: 07/05/2001 10:43 EST

Hi, I'm El Caballo, 35, Scorpio.

My turn-ons are: My wife and two children, Fords & Cadillacs, DIY hot rodders, cats who know and share the info wealth, traditional rods & kustoms, rockabilly music, OLD country like Johnny Horton, Dropkick Murphys, Los Straightjackets, etc, ad nauseum.

My turn-offs are: anything contrary to my turn-ons but include being hit in the head with a brick, lighting strikes, and last but not least - spontaneous combustion.

Razzle-frazzits! I'll figure out the post-a-pic biz soon. Also, the DKM and Straightjackets are not old country in case you didn't already know, was not my inference. DOH!

Hi El Caballo..Welcome aboard, It's always nice to see new members in here. Pull up a chair and make yourself at home. Remember, the only dumb question is the one you don't ask.

Welcome aboard El Caballo. Glad to have ya around. With all these new "faces" the chat room on Mondays should be standing room only. I'll make my reservations now. Table for one please. I plan on being home tomorrow night, so hopefully I'll make it into the chat at 9pm. Hope to see some old buddies in there.

Hey El C! Waaaz Uuup? That sure is a pretty box you got there! I especially like that red "X" on the side. It's on my list of things to own someday. Where'd you get it? I was thinkin I might want one in green. Seen any?

That red X box has the rarest options; the artichoke peeler, remote toenail clipper, self-greasing water faucet, and the most prized of all - spring loaded tire weights. Regrettably, it is painted me-too red but at least its original.

Those red Xs were cool at one time. But it seems that half the people on that other message board have had one at sometime or another. BTW you know me,just not with this name.

Heya 'Tucky boy, and Buzz. Good to see ya both! I'm new here too, things are different on this side for sure. But it's Good that I've found somewhere I can ask questions of a different nature than I might elsewhere.

Who was that masked man?

Talk about aliases. Rooster I can think of 3 different names for you right off the top of my head. You coming to the Spectacular? As for HRLC, Well you've met her, think she meant any harm? Me either. One of these days I'll tell you the story behind my alias.
As for Leadsled Cafe it's a on-line club on Yahoo. I'll send you an invite.Thats the best way to find it. You'd like it there. I'm the one everyone picks on there. I don't know why. I'm so sweet and innocent! And I sure never start anything!

You can call me- lowand77, John B ,couchboy, couchtater, koa-dir, and a couple more that I'll keep to my self for now. OR just make up a new one.

Ooooh Yeah, I remember crossing paths briefly now! Still it'd be pretty tough for HRLC to remember where, so maybe we should leave it till we meet again. Somebody's gotta get down to meet this "International man of mystery" El C. with a pocket camera though! I was gonna, but was scared of gettin stuck out on the road in my crappy ol truck.

Well the best thing to do is just give her a hint or 2. Here's the hint- Rooster is a red headed mullet head.
As for El C being a international man of mystery. Well better him then me. Don't think I could fit that in my schedule. Of course from the time of day he post things here and other places, it seems he can fit it in with his work schedule. Wish I could post things from work, but the lap top keeps falling in the ditches or off the top of my ladder.

Well it didnt take me long to guess. The red hair gave it a way. Detroit Autorama, this year. I thought couch boy, aka: lowand77, was crazy when he mentioned what you'd be wearing and that we'd be able to spot you in a crowd there. Well low and behold, he was right. I think it was the height that made you easy to spot. Anyway, it was nice meeting you, and I'm sure our paths will cross again in the near future.
