Well, we had a great trip on the tour up from Texas. Was hosted by Sachse Rod Shop on Sunday, then at Halibrand Wheels on Monday for a tour & dinner, Pete & Jakes for Tuesday lunch and the City of Hermann , MO for dinner on Tuesday. On Wednesday we were the guests of Al Young at his house (Mansion) in Indy for catered meal & tour of his house & car collection. He has the actual Indy Pace Car Camero from 1967 as part of his collection.
On Thursday we cruised to Don's Hot Rod shop in Germantown, OH for lunch & a shop tour, then on to Columbus for the Kickoff Party at the Marriott host hotel.

A few breakdowns along the way for some folks, but none too serious. We were suprised to see all the $50,000 shop built rods breaking down all around us while our old homebuilt rod just kept on chugging along.

You guys who did not go on one of the tours should seriously consider it next year. It is well worth the $15 entry fee since you get a cap, a shirt & a window sticker plus all the great hospitality along teh way.

Forgot to tell you that I took loads of pictures but somehow lost them in a download glitch switching from my laptop to me PC.
The ones I saw from others were great though.
The Red 32 coupe with the Full House graphic and Motor City Flathead posted by someone belongs to my daughter-in-laws uncle Ray Gosnell. Cool rod! He won top 12 pick last year with that car.
