Straight 6 to V8 conversion questions (Ford)

Ok, I have just a few basic questions I hope you folks can help me with.
I am pulling the 200 straight 6 from my 66 Ranchero and putting in a 289. Now this car came with a 289 option, does that mean I can use stock motor mounts for the V8?
Also can I pull the throttle linkage out of any early V8 For for this project?
As for the wiring, the starter solenoid is the same for both motors, correct?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Oh and by the way, if anyone is in the market for a 200 and c4 trans, this one will be up for sale in a few weeks.

the wiring should be the same. you will have to use motor mounts from a small block setup to change to the 289. i would think that the mounts would be the same from the 289 v-8 fairlanes, falcons and mustangs in the same year range, about 1964 to 1966 or 67.

Along with v8 motor mounts you will need the v8 pearches that bolt on to the lower shock towers. There a little hard to find, but there out there.
