WOW!!!!!! That's all I can say. Lots of quality rods and customs with lots to look at.

About 1700 cars according to the offical count and beautiful fall weather to go with. Simply stunning.

Thanks to Bill and Lynn for stopping by. Sorry I missed you George.....I was back at you car several times....was at the front of the lot on the street most of the day!

It was GRRRRRRRRRRRRRREAT!

Lynn- sorry we didn't get to meet, but a great weekend just the same! The weather was so good we turned a 300 mile trip into a 600 mile trip (just cruising the whole area). It was good to see so many amazing cars ( the wife found a pink champagne colored buick she fell in love with!) there was definately something for everyone. Maybe they will find a little more room for the show next year. Thanks for coming up maybe we can find eachother at the nsra show in Knoxville in a couple of months. We won't be able to do the Turkey run or Doin' the Charleston - we have a little repair work to do over the next few days (it's always something)

Yeah Bill, me too, sorry we didn't get together. There will be another time. We put down 831 miles total round trip and cruising combined and enjoyed every mile. This was probably the most enjoyable show I've ever attended. Everything just seemed to click. My buddy was following me back to the motel Saturday evening and he said he thought he saw your delivery (I had described it to him)sitting on the corner at the traffic light where we turned left to go back to Maggie Valley. I didn't see it. Was that you? As it stands right now probably the next LARGE show we'll attend will be Myrtle Beach in March unless something else comes up before. Going?

Later.....

Lynn- That was my delivery Saturday evening in the lot across from the light. We were wandering the local shops around there and it was also a great spot to watch the cars go by (we probably missed eachother by minutes I'm sure). Anyhow it was a great group of cars and people for sure. I hope they find a little more space for us to park next time but other than that we had a super weekend.
The Myrtle Beach show is a possibility but I have to check with the keeper of my "social calender" and see what plans she has. What does the weather do that time of year? I recall going to Bike week in Daytona at about the same timeframe and having a cold ride. I know the Knoxville show is a sure thing, we try and make that every year. The rest of the shows and cruises are all up in the air( I'd love to be Doin' The Charleston this weekend) but we'll make it to some either way.
