I try Bob, I try.....that aint all I am or can be but we aint goin' there LOL.
Now it's time for me to kick back and relax since I've spent the last 4 hours sitting still on 95 North. 5am this morning 2 tractor trailers decided it would be cute to cut off a mini van and eachother and in the process it got real ugly. 95 blocked completely off thanks to the 2 tractor trailers spread across the road on their side and a van sandwiched in the middle. Driver of the mini van died (go figure) 2 truck drivers are ok last I heard.
Can we say Road Rage ladies and gentlemen? It really dont pay to act foolish these days. Truck drivers are thinking since they're bigger they can do what they want and the heck with the rest of us all.
Anyhoo, im back alive after a nice little 4 hour group gathering with 8 million of my closest friends on the highway..
See ya

Before you run your mouth about trucks maybe ride in one. Havein driven 1,300,000 miles(no wrecks) in one for a living its usally the idiot in the mini van gonna teach that big bad truck driver.Guess what you will lose every time. This may not be the case but i think before you get your lic you should have to ride in a big rig. I really dont think a guy would really want to wreck his 150,000 dollar truck trailer on a peice of sh#t cookie hauler(mini van) Your attitude is exactly what gets most people killed in 4 wheelers. Dont get me wrong there are a lot of jack ass big rig drivers out there but a whole lot more cookie hauler, suv idiots that think they are king of the road. Why would you cut off a mini van any way, most people that drive them are soccer moms or loser's(not worth screwing with) Sometime take a ride and your attitude will change.

Don't get us wrong we'er not out for you Slammin Just puting it in the right perspective. I have been driving for 34 years with close to three million miles under my belt and yes there are some idiot big riggers out there that give the trucking industry a bad name but most of them have only been in it a short time and think the world owes them everything. I guess I am from the old school where My dad drilled it into my head to respect and treat others on the road and any place else for that matter like I would want them to treat me. I know that you live a long distance from me but anytime you happen to get this way I'd gladly let you rid in my big rig. I have taken the ditch a few times because of some person not paying attention. It's easier to relpace sheetmetal than someones life!

I'm not a Trucker, but am/was a Locomotive Engineer. Everytime we would hit a car, truck, van, suv or what ever happened to be there, we got the blame for hitting and most of the time, killing the occupants of the vehicle. I amazes me how we were at fault. We just seen this vehicle and steered the train off the track and chased that no-good sucker down and ran over him. And your also right, that there are some wise ass drivers out there. But for the most part they are professionals. To much money tied up to crash it. Oh! and remember, this goes for truckers too, when you meet a train at a crossing, We Win All Ties! That's all.

Been there done that, rode in many a truck especially since half the family drives for a living so yes, you can say I've seen it all...good bad and the ugly. Yeah I know theres alot of decent truckers and theres a lot of good car truck and van drivers and if theres a little common sense in both of them they respect eachother and everythings hokey dorey. BUT you always have the 1 bad truck driver and 1 bad car driver that seem to clash and it turns ugly.
Enough of this nonsense before it gets ugly and we're all arguing again over something stupid like this...god forbid I would hate to start up another argument like the first political one, I mention one thing pertaining to my exciting day out and about and all of a sudden im bashing truck drivers? NO, at least I dont think so, Ok im getting off my soapbox now before the devil comes after me.
Hey Bob didn't nobody tell ya they had a new segment on SRTV and RPM 2NIGHT...Driver Improvement 101!

My Dad was driving cross country at night, too tired, should have pulled off. I guess he was weaving just a touch so that a big rig behind him noticed it and eased up behind him. Close enough so that his headlights passed along the sides of my Dad's s-10 and lit up the road ahead of him, kept him awake and pointed the right way for an hour or so.

I gotta go with Mike on this one. Pro drivers simply can't afford to mess with passenger cars on interstates. It's not only a legal problem, but a matter of good business sense. When you consider that tractor averages 4.5 to 6.5 miles a gallon, the average load from L.A. to N.Y. pays $4,000. and a truck payment is around $2,300.a month, he's pretty busy just tryin to make a livin. I realize its easy to lay blame on the truck, but he is the professional out there. Next time you put that fork to your face, that gas in your car, or your head on that pillow, remember, a truck brought it to you.
