Ed, Ya bolt the thing to the front framehorns then install hydralics on the front suspension of one of those California lowridders for up and down. Then find a farmer that will let you use some of his front suitcase weights, throw em in the trunk for traction and then find a set of dual wheel tire chains from any ole trucker ya might have to shorten em a little but they will be wide enough to fit your fat Micky's and you should be set.lol have fun in the snow!!!!

Ed take a fork lift ,put the plow on the forks raise it up about 8 ft and tilt it forward on to the top of the 32 give it a slight jerk and the plow should be on the 32. Let me know how you make out,its pretty easy. You can post the "how to" on removing it later. Just reminded me "buy turn cyl "(more money)

Ed,
Gather the following supplies:

Wheel barrel
Binder twine
Duct tape
skate board
1/4" - 20 threaded rod and two nuts
nylon tie wraps

Let me know when you're ready. We're gona mount the barrel to the frame with the threaded rod, through the frame rails to create a pivot point, and keep it from tearing up the asphalt with the skate board wheels. When you need to lift it, you yank on the binder twine to tilt it.

O'h yea, but lots of Liquid Engineering for me. (Miller Lite)

Best of Luck,
Bo

We'll need to drill a 5/16" hole in the front tip of the frame rails, and in the wheel barrel. We'll place the threaded rod through both to create the pivot point. I'll work on an illustration.

Check out the Blizzard snow plow, they are built at the factory to bolt directly onto a Deuce coupe without any modifications!!!!!

Lynn- do you have a use for a ice boat? I have a DN sitting in my garage that is pretty fast and I surely don't have a use for it in Georgia!(It's left over from a former life in Sturgeon Bay,WI)

There were quite a few variations of these. Henry Ford actually offered this from the factory on model T's for a few years. There were quite a few used for rural mail delivery.

I found this page also while I was looking at snowmobile sites last week. It shows steam engines, like locomotives, with skis and tracks on them which they used for log haulers during the logging era. http://www.allroutes.to/modeltandlombard/

Hey Purp, They have one of these on Slide mountain in the Catskills. It ran the mail back in it`s day. It still runs and occaisionally you will see it running down Oliveria road from Slide mountain in the toughest snow storms. The town calls it "The original SkiDoo" A real cool peice.

Just look for the old conversion kit. In the mid- west especially, they used to sell kits to convert any model T , as well as plow kits (for fields), and belt kits to run tooling. Cool, eh.
