Can I use my original '38 Ford radiator if I block the extra outlets? I'm putting a Chev. engine in it. If not what other radiator will fit the easiest.

I wouldn`t mess with an old radiator, get a new aftermarket made for your application. Check out a Griffy, or any top notch radiator manufacturer. You will get lots of posts on this with a lot of opinions on which one to buy, but all will agree, get a new one. It`s like buying insurance.

if you are in a pinch i wouldnt hesitate using a GOOD original radiator with the extra outlets blocked.however, it will not have pressure on it because of the location of the overflow tube(below the seal point of the radiator cap). my last rod,a 34 ford pickup, had an excellent original radiator in it with no problems. the motor was a 327-350 h.p.with 11.0 to 1 pistons.I will agree that a new street rod radiator is best if affordable. good luck
