Dumb Question?

On our '41 Chevy:
Can we keep the original springs and just change the rear?

If You can find one that is the same width as the one thats under there now, or go narrower and use wider rims and fatter tires to fill up the wheel well, Why not. You will most likley have to have to weld on new spring pads(save yer old ones) make a new drive shaft but the rest should be easy( yea,right)
