Hi Everyone. Sure am glad i found this site. Im building a 32 ford cabriolet, high boy. Ive got the chassis with engine and trany in. Body is on order.
My question is on a high boy the rear hood latch has to be mounted on a little bracket welded to frame. Can someone that has a high boy tell me how far behind the front latch this bracket is located and how much it sticks out from the frame. Also how wide is it??

It is late in the evening and it is about 3 degrees outside, but I can go out to the barn and measure one tomarrow. I am interested in your cabriolet hiboy. What kind of body is it? Do you have all of the cabriolet parts? Are you using folding top irons? I have been driving a deuce cabriolet hiboy for about 3 years now. It is an all steel car with a 406 SB, 4 speed, quickchange, black with flames. There is a picture of it on my profile. When do you plan on having yours done,or driveable?
