Hi guys and gals. Hope everybody had a nice and safe holiday. I have notice that some SRS members don't have anything in there profile except there e-mail address. Which that is ok..
I personaly think everyone should fill out some of it (like the town/state) or all of it. Simpley because if someone is looking to see how a brakets is made or the way something is ran or etc. and come to find out they live in the same city as you. It would be nice to go take a look and see how it's done. Or just to find out you have a new street rodder that lives a block away that you never met.
I have personaly met some super nice rodders that i frist met online. Also i'm trying to put together a SRS members fellow pages for my personal use. And if it turns out the way i hope it will, i'll see if SRS will post it or i can
e-mail to everybody.
I didn't mean to step on anybodies toes about there profiles. I just thought this would help everybody.
Rick

That's an excellent idea -- especially when I noticed that you are in my neck of the woods! (I'm over in Blue Springs, Missouri.) Are there any good clubs in the Kansas City area? I've been involved in a Shelby Dodge club for the past 6+ years, but now I'm looking for something more in line with my latest project car.

Hi Bradley, There's not to many street rods clubs around. There's Show me Rods they meet in indep ay the fun house pizza on 40 hyway. Can't remember when. The Prz is Jim Smothers. I was a member with them back in 77to83.
There's alot of street rodders in Blue Springs. You'll have to go to Hootters this next spring and summer. The fist and second saturday. they useally bring in around 300 cars. The World of Wheels show is coming up in February i think. You could talk some of the people there, they might leed you in the right place.
The best place to look for clubs like your wanting is check in Sunday and Wednesdays news paper in the auto section. Most of the time they have a list of clubs in there.
Hope this helps you out. If you got any other questions just let me know
Stay warm

Yep, I just called Show Me Rods, I think I'll try to make it over for their meeting this month. Has anyone ever been to the Supercruise shows held in Jefferson City, Missouri? My uncle is one of the people who helps put that show on. I don't know what they are doing now that the mall they were having the show at changed how they were doing things. The show is (was ?) a great one held the last Saturday of every month from April to October. Very fun!
