One of my goals this year is to meet some of the SRS members. SRS members have become a tight-knit group. It would be a shame if we never met.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!I agree with you Rick,It would be nice to be able to associate a friendly face with the people who participate here.Perhaps someone on the staff could come up with a,sort of,sign-up sheet of some sort that could be compiled,then posted on the Roundtable.It could then be printed off and referred to as we travel thru-out the country this year.Anyway,I look forward to meeting a few of you in the upcoming year and also to the good conversation on the Roundtable.See Ya!!

Hey 40, this might not be very difficult to do since all member info is stored in a database. What sort of list would you like? Organized by state, etc?

Just let us know.

You can use the search feature and click the Archives box. All posts are archived when they fall off the bottom of the list. For a specific person, you could just type their nickname.

By state sounds good to me.That way we can look up members when we cruise through their area. Also to call for help in case if a rare breakdown! I for one would be willing to have my phone # put in this list for SRS members use.

WHEN A MEMBER CLICKS ON A DATE THE SHOW WILL COME UP WITH ALL THE INFO INCLUDING THOSE MEMBERS THAT WILL BE ATTENDING WHICH WE FILL IN WHEN WE'VE MAY PLANS TO ATTEND. SRS MEMBERS COULD ALSO LIST OTHER INFO REGARDING THE SHOW SUCH AS HOTEL/MOTEL INFO, GOOD REST. IN THE AREA, MEETING OTHER SRS MEMBERS' PLANS/PLACES AT FAIRGROUNDS ETC. YAHOO CLUBS HAS A CALENDAR SOMETHING LIKE THIS BUT NOT AS EXTENSIVE. CHECK OUT http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/roadtoads2 WHEN YOU GET A CHANCE. CALENDAR IS LISTED ON THE LEFT. Hi Denise,Your idea for the Calender sounds perfect!Just the type of info I had in mind but just couldn't come up with a workable format.The Calender idea with the ability for each of us to post the events we are attending,and to also see who else will be there sounds great.We can leave how elaborate it becomes up to the very capable computer wizards at SRS.Most days I have my hands full with this thing just getting it turned on!!Also THANKS! to Jason for all the time and effort put into this Website,It's one of the best!!!

Thank you kindly, 40. I wish I could take all of the credit, but I must confess that Rob does an equal amount of work here on the site. He just sits behind the curtain most days.

The calendar idea sounds interesting. I would like to enhance it and perhaps tie it more tightly with the member information. Denise, I just joined up over at the Yahoo! club - that seems like a great crew also; several SRS members, too. I know we talked about it a few months back, but adding the ability to show our pictures with our profiles would be pretty neat. (Don't laugh if you look at mine over at Yahoo :)

We'll see if we can't think up a way of organizing all of this info better before the roddin' season is upon us once again.

Hi Jason.. Glad you made it over to Yahoo toads. The Toads started over on AOL,(must be on AOL to join) Had alot of guys leaving AOL and we were seeing our membership drop. So we thought of branching out. So we started the Roadtoads on Yahoo. That way anybody could come in and join the fun. Hope you don't mind i put the SRS link on our links. I think over half of the Toads came over to SRS too.
Anyway, the calendar on the Yahoo Toads can be set up in different ways, weekly, monthly, or yearly. I just put it on monthly to see how it works. If you want i can go back and put it on another way for you to look at.
Also we have a calendar on the AOL Toads Web site. if you want to take a look at it. It's http://hometown.aol.com/hotrod28a/toads1.htm
the calendar is the 00 calendar of toad attending events.If any of these can help you figure something out, you more than welcome to use it.

And Joel - we would love to have some sort of gathering to meet some SRS members. You're right, though - it would be hard since everyone is everywhere. Maybe we can plan something for one of the shows this summer.
