body fit

I am just about to start fitting my 33 vicky body to the frame and then the fenders grille and hood any advise on pitfalls or starting points would be appreciated. I have searched the articles from the magazines and dick z is forwarding them to me.ie starting points or better yet don't start here!!!

when you are fitting the body to the frame, remember you can shim the body to help correct any bad door gaps, etc, these should obviously be kept to a minimum. but you would be surprised the differance a sixteenth here or an eighth there can make, most Ford bodies had shims under them from the factory, sometimes just putting 2 thicknesses of the body to frame webbing can make a differance.
