I recently ran into a fella at the Charlotte Goodguys that had a 57 poncho convertible that had improved on that Pontiac performance in his as well. But he did it without help so to speak.
As you know there is not alot (maybe nothing) out there that will just bolt on and go so he relented to making the system that he had better (improved the VE of the whole system). He started with milling the heads to raise the compression (to what I don't know) and doing alot of head work to improve the flow. Gasket matching was essential as well as spent time on the factory headers and upgraded the exausts to aftermarket pipes and mufflers. He had added a homemade spacer to the intake, between the carb (for more plenum volume and higher RPMs)and intake etc. He claimed that not only did it run alot better, faster, but also got better milage. His next trick was going to put a 700R in some how?
