The plan is to run a C-4 behind a flathead in A rails. What is suggested for a trans mount and does the stock A crossmember have to go or ????

Dont know about the fit or not, but my C6 tranny mounts via a "C" shaped bracket(the stock tranny mount) over a
2 X 2 1/4 peice of tubing. The stock tranny cross member was a "C" shaped peice also with the bottom flared out, but when I put it into the other truck, I just used 2X2 tubing and welded a small peice of 1/4 plate on the tubing where the mount goes, rather than try to make the old cross memeber longer. Hope this helps. I have a C4 in the workshop, but Im not sure how it mounts.
