Was wondering the same thing. For the past few weeks i've logged on just before 8 cst and checked back a few times , but no one there. Had a hard time keeping on the net with earth-link. Gave them the boot and went with ATT. Much better. Lets get together next Mon. night.

Hi guys, alive and well. Thanks for asking Tom. Just got home tonight from the Back to the 50's show in St Paul,MN One word to describe it, WOW!! Its the nicest fairgrounds I've been to. Paved, tree lined streets, perfect for cruzn. There were close to 10,000 cars in attendence. What a site. You guys know I'm a huge NSRA fan but I dont understand how they could forgo the St Paul fairgrounds for the Louisville one. There just isnt any comparison. Ran into Todd (want to be) and his lovely family, also a couple on online buddies car buddies from Chicago. Also met, for the first time in person, Liz from Winapeg, who I've been looking forward to meeting for the last few years. She's the one who organizes the ladies only lipstick tour every year. She built and drives a T-bucket!! I will be joining them this year. We'll all be at the Frog Follies in Evansville IN in Aug.

Checked out a few ragtops that were for sale there. One was a mint green 47 chevy, not a very attractive color. Another was an awesome 48 Ford (I know, A FORD?) but it was awesome. Teal with black leather interior and black cloth top. Very smooth, right up my alley except it was $10,000 more then I have. Oh well. The third, that wasnt for sale, and this is a kicker, was a 47 Chevy ragtop painted Hawaiian Orchid!!! Grey interior and a black cloth top. It was my twin!! Chatted with the owner, single guy from MN, but couldn't convince him to sell it to me. Batted my eyes, flirted like I've never flirted before, tried to ply him with beers but he was holding his own. LOL Did everything I could think of short of crying, nothing worked!! He did take my number and promised to call me if he changed his mine. The rod was rod of the year there in 95. By looking at it, you'd never guess it had been around over 6 years. Very fresh looking. Very smooth, very me!!! I took a whole roll of film just on that rod. Will send them, and others from the show, to Jason as soon as I get them developed. Home one day to mow lawn and do laudray, then I'm off to the KOA- Double Date show in KY that lowand77 mentioned in another post.

Sorry I missed the Monday 6/25/01 chat room. As you know, deuce, I too had problems with earthstink and like KCTom, I dumped them for roadrunner. The computer is working good now, so I'll be jawin at you on Monday nite. Hope we can draw a few more members.
