wheel swaps

New to forum. Sorry if this question is old stuff.
Have 67 Mustang. Would like to use newer (90's) style stock rims and low-aspect tires for better traction/handling (and they still have running horse logo...). Any chance bolt patterns/offsets will work? Supposedly my 67 uses "5 lug" or "4 1/2 inch" pattern.

Thanks

Yes, your bolt pattern is 5 on 4.5". This is the same as the newer ones. The only difference that I know of is the backspacing. I'm pretty sure you will need longer lugs and spacers. You should go ask MustangSteve at http://members.boardhost.com/MustangSteve . It's come up before on that board, but I don't recall exactly what they said.
