Hi Guys. Ive been outta touch for a while, just wanted to check in and tell everyone hi and that i had a wonderful time on the power tour. Any one else go? i posted a bunch of pics on yahoos photo sight if anyone cares to take a peek.
I went on Power Tour East 1999 and had a great time. For anyone that hasn't made the time to do a Tour of some type, I highly recommend you do it. The participants are like a huge team and each stop is a unique car shows. I went with my Dad and got to spend 2700 miles talking about stuff that never would have come out on any casual visit. It may sound like that Master Card commercial, but it is really a priceless memory.

Hi Mike, I looked for you but only saw your car (nice). I see you found Denise. The schedule was so tight I didn't have a lot of extra time to look for people. Good to hear you had a good time....me too!! I left the tour in Kingman, AZ and went up to the Grand Canyon, Utah, and Colorado on the way home to Mich. and became a tourist for a week. I drove about 5900 miles total. I met a lot of new friends, the weather was great and the only thing that broke was a shifter cable in Nebraska on the way home. I just hot wired the neutral safety switch and left it in drive til I got home.
Sorry Mike, I must have met you because we are both in the same picture (the group one in Tulsa). The whole trip was a blur...

Hi Guys,
Did anyone see a 51 Buick with a twin turbo straight 8 from Montana on the tour. He was supposed to go on this years tour, and I wondered if he made it. The car is really neat, all Jag underneath, including the floor pan so the interior bolted in.
