Just had to say what a great time! Weather was perfect. 70+ degrees, NO RAIN! 2051 registered cars, (52 more than last year). After the last three days, I'm glad I can go back to work and get some rest! Whew! I met SRS member "40" at the show, and his friend who owned a beauty. A flamed and blown monster of a 32 Ford! Absolutely beautiful! It was really great to meet somebody from this site in person. Hey '40, hope ya'll made it back with no troubles, I'm sure see you again somewhere!

Just wanted to confirm Lance's thoughts in the previous post!If you didn't make it to Springfield, you missed a GREAT weekend. As stated, the weather was perfect, the people were extremely friendly, and the variety/quality of rods was awesome! We had a great time and enjoyed putting the first 200 or so miles on the car cruising the streets of Springfield.Lance, was very nice to have met you in person and also thanks for the info in regard to our visit, also CONGRATS!! on your car being selected as the host club pick,it was very deserving of the honor as you have a very nice ride(check it out in this months voting for rod of the month).Look forward to visiting with you as we bump into each other at upcoming events thru-out the midwest this summer.I've already made my reservations for next year!!!See Ya!!!
