My 32 Tudor is setup for a T56 6 speed trans, but the shifter is deep into the center of the floor. I need very narrow bucket seats that will fit. The total width is 40", less about 6" for the shifter, only leaves me with a 17" seat. If I can get choosy after saying that, I would like to find a type of car that would have gray leather and a medium hight back with no head rest.
Someone suggested a Mazda Millenia, but I don't know what year and what the actual dementions are. I need to be sure it will fit before I do a national search through online junk yards.
The other option is a split bench with a cutout in the front center.
Any contacts would be appreciated.

Go to a bone yard and look at a Honda or other foreign car.
I had Honda seats in my 32 when i had it.

I used seats from a pontiac fiero. Had the headrest cut down and spearkers removed. They were the narrowest I could find. Only cost $50.00 for 2 at wrecking yard.

Narrow Seats...Just go to bone yard and find seats you like, keep in mind that they have to be narrowed. Just take the covers off and narrow them to your liking.Or take them to your local auto trim shop, they all narrow or alter seat frames for customs & hot rods. Call the trim shop's first they may even know what seats will work. Remember the guys in most trim shop are very talented craftsman.

Okay. I did not know that people usually narrowed them. I was hoping to find some already done in gray leather and match the rest of the interior to that. If I will be cutting a seat, I will start with a split bench and make a cutout in the front center.

I am not to the fitting stage of my seats yet, gotta get frame built 1st, but I found a awesome set of grey leather buckets, power everything, from a 96 Mustang GT. Super cool looking seats and they seem to fit nicely in the cab of the 35 with my old mustang consle which will hold the e-brake and the shifter. I could measure them later this evening, but couldnt respond till tues when go back to work. Paid 200 for them.
