12 volt heaters

anyone out there used one of the new electric heaters being advertised for streetrods.i sure would like to not deal with the heater hoses on a graffiti style coupe with an open motor.the winters here in SC are not to bad,but you do need something dec thru feb.

Dale, I've never used one. But i think it sure would draw the amps.

Hi Dale, I sold 2 of these 12 volt heaters to one of my customers to mount on his fork lifts. One week later he was back the elements were all broken. The company blamed the broken heaters on the fork lifts rough ride. So if your Hot Rod hits a pot hole you may not have heat. If you use a hot water heater Lowes Hardware has some neat clear hot water hose in there plumbing section.Remember clear & red gas line. Clear water hoses would be nostalgic.
