I am new to this board and need some help. I need to replace the hidden trunk hinges on my '37 Ford Slantback project car. The ones on there now are home made and not strong enough. Has anyone tried this and if so whose hinges did you use. Thanks!

I put hinded trunk hinges in a '36 chevy, but it was a hump back. I went to a junk yard and just opened a lot of small car hoods and trunks and looked at all kinds of hinges. I ended up useing hood hinges out of a ford pinto. Later i made a '36 plymouth hump back trunk lid open from the side like a door and again i used pinto hinges, i guess because i knew what they looked like. The local junk yard is full of good ideas. Good Luck to you.

You might try Rocky Mountain Hinges, I bought a set for my 37 Trunkback and they only set me back $48 buck rogers....Later, Russell
