I have a 1930 2dr sedan with HAL'S coilover's. The spring I have is not strong enough. I am begining to think I have the spring's for the coupe. Does anyone know how or where I can get a heavier spring other than a custom made one. I have a spring shop that will custom make them for $300 +-maybe that is good I don't know.. any help or ideas??????

Do you know what size and rate your existing springs are? Do you know what new rate you desire? ----- Speedway (Omaha, Neb.) offers many springs for coil-overs, in various rates and free lengths. They offer chrome plated as well as plain springs. Prices are much lower than what you were quoted. ----- Did you try contacting Hal Shocks to see what they offer?

I found coil over springs for Hal shocks in the latest Jeg's catalog. They have 7'',10'', 12'' and 14'' models available with varing spring rates from 95 to 450 lbs. Pretty reasonable too for $36.99 each. There web site is www.jegs.com Hope this helps you out.
