The recent talk about automotive art has come at a funny time for me. I have been drawing cars for years, just for fun. Given a few to friends, and tossed the others after they set around on my desk, and the pile just to high.
But lately my wife has been on me to do somthing with them, (she means sell them on my web page).
I though long and hard before asking this....not wanting to sound like I'm trying to sell myself or am fishing for a compliment, or anything. But we're all friends, and who else to ask then your friends right!? =)
Here is one of my little doodles....what should I do?
Hi Terry,I think the first thing you should do is let me send you a few photos of my cars so you can draw a few "doodles" for my shop wall.Looks to me like you have a definate talent! My Dad could sit down and draw cars from memory, cars that he hadn't seen in years, with unbelievable accuracy and detail.Sure wish I had saved some of them!!Good luck and keep drawing!!!See Ya!

Hi Terry, You sure got the talnet. You just got to figure out how your wanting to sell them. These going to be just your doodles or you going to do other guys/gals cars?
There might be alot of rodders that would like to see a drawing of there car a certain way, before the start working on it.
The only thing i can draw is stick men. then the more you look at it, the more it looks like a ant.

Sorry, I couldn't resist..
Man, you've got some talent there. It sure seems like you could do pics of people's cars and sell them. Just don't put them where people can steal them for nothing.

MAY HAVE SEEN SOME OF YOUR CARS!!! I have drooled over some of your cars! =) Truely I had planned to talk to you about my next project, after the Zipper. How neat to hear from you this way! Thanks to you and all who wrote me with encouragement. Although HotRodPurple's didn't load for me?
I guess I'll go for it and see what happens....it would be cool to make a little extra rod money!
Terry,
I asked if you would draw my car a couple of weeks ago and you stated to send pics. I finally got some pics put on my computer. The problem is I don't have your e-mail address anymore. Could you give me your e-mail address. Send it to thundershorts1@aol.com thanks Steve

I'll bet you could sell some t-shirts with your artwork on them if you put them up on your webpage. People are always looking for something original and different.
