I am planning on installing a front clip on my 50 olds 88. I have an 82 Monte Calro clip I plan to use but I'm open to suggestions. I prefer not to use a mustang on this heavy car. I have a 455 olds and a modified 700R4 I'm going to use. I also think I will replace the old coil spring rear for a 9" ford leaf spring setup. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I believe that you are making a wise choice using a real car clip and leave the Mustang to lighter vehicles. Do all the measurements and see if there may be a better fit such as a LeSabre or equivalent, its been ages since I had a 50 Olds!
For the rear the Ford and leafs might be overkill unless this is gonna be a drag car. A 12 bolt posi from a Chevelle, etc would be simpler to install if the width works out.
