Advice and help - '37 Chevy

We have decided to Rod the '37 Chevy 2 door sedan and sell the '41 Chevy 4 door. The '37 has an almost mint interior and the body and paint is done. A few chips but no big deal. In the '37 is a 1954 235 engine and the original 3 speed on the floor. After we painted the engine red, yes red and then put it back in the car it ran great. The car is not running now as we pulled the battery and some wires.
My question is as follows. I need someone to come to our home in NY State, near the NJ border and help me take the hood, grille and fenders off and then pull the engine & trans. I do not have any type of engine puller or stand. I would then sell this engine/trans combo for? . Any help or suggestions? Thanks, Alan

Hi Alan,

Have tools will travel! I would be glad to help you but I live in Texas. Think about what changes you want to make to the car, like suspension, engine, tranny and so on. A successful project involves careful planning. You have a great car to start with and it will certainly make a cool street rod!
