I just got off the phone with the pres. of the Dukes here in Spokane. They have just gotten official word from N.S.R.A. The N W Nats are canceled. Acording to the letter from NSRA the event has not been moved, just canceled for 2002. Any one else heard anything? I've got some more calls to make, and will keep every one posted if I find out any more

About two days ago I talked to a good friend of mine, who is a Division Rep for the NSRA. He told me that a couple of things was going on at the NW Nats. He said the number one problem was dealing with the poeple that are in charge of the grounds that they hold it at. Car count was another reason. If you can't make the money off of car count, you can't pay the bills. Some of it came from Rodder complaints. They looked at a few other places up that way, and it was a no go. But it WILL be held in California next year. Not cancelled. My source is a pretty good one. He did say that there was a lot involved in the decision to leave. It wasn't just a spur of the moment thing. Anyway, there it is, sort of from the horses mouth.
