Did you used to own your silver Merc around '89 or '90? Was it done enough to cruz then? I'm not 100% thats yours for sure but I do believe I have it on tape from '89 and '90 Labor Day show up in Cumberland MD that the fine folks of the Western MD Street Rod Assoc. put on at the Alleghany Co. Fairgrounds every year if for certain it is your ride before paint. Now that I saw it on tape I remember it because we camped right across the street in with the Weekend Warriors Assoc. I believe every year it was parked next to a black '40 Ford 'Vert done up in the 40's - early 50's style. If it was you and you want a copy let me know and if I can copy it I will. I dont know how well thats going to happen since I've got these tapes off of Video Bob of the former Action Video Productions and theres some kind of copyguarded system on the tapes even if the tabs are on the tapes. I'll try it and if it works i'll get a copy of it to ya.

You coming down this way for the Haloween Run this weekend in Fredrick MD? If I can make it i'll bring you the tape if your coming down. If not I guess the next show in this area is the December Show at Timonium. You going to that one? If we dont meet there I'm going to the World of Wheels here in town the last weekend in January (25th to the 27th). One way or the other if the tapes come out ok i'll get it to you somehow.

Slammin, thanks for the thought, But that's not my Merc.
I haven't been to cumberland since the 10th anniversary. I still have the belt buckle they gave out at the run. I wouldn't mind the tape though It would be interesting to see if it still is the same.
I won't make the run this weekend We are going to MACUNGIE for the ENDLESS SUMMER Show.
Maybe I'll catch up with you at YORK next year.
The days are getting shorter and I plan on helping my son on his 62 Belair wagon.
Got my 51 chevy pickup running and on the road this week. bought it in MD. in June and finally got it done.I plan on going to a few shows next year:
York, Goodguys Columbus,The Nats.,Rheinbeck,
and Goodguys in NC.
See ya "WHEELS"

If that isn't yours then there was one out back then that could pass for yours if that one was around now. I got '86-'00 on tape so if you want, let me know which you want and I'll see to it that you get 'em. I think '88 and '89 was the 14th and 15th year and you said you went the 10th year and thats it, I dont guess that was your ride anyway. Just thought I would pass it on to ya and ask.
