Role Call time!!!

Who's goin' to Charlotte the end of the month? I know you are Denise and so is a few others from here, a friend of mine wants me to run down with him and 12 others and I just may take him up on that offer, if I dont decide to take anything i'll ride shotgun in a black '39 Chevy truck chopped and severely dropped with juice and orange yellow and red flames down the hood sides and cab. If you see the truck runnin' around the show pay real close attention to it, it's got alot of work done to it that will make ya think twice. I myself had a hand or two in the project, for instance I spun out the final product in color on paper and it stuck all the way through, I designed the air scoop which is a Harley Davidson tank cut at the front and bottom to appear as a blower scoop. I also was a hand in the front sheet metal idea. You dont know how incredibly good lookin a '39 cab is with a '38 Chevy car hood and all 4 fenders. Kind of glad we did what we did with this one because in 126 shows its won somethin in 120 of 'em. The other 6 was 6 straight World of Wheels where it got overlooked by the trailered stuff.

Lets hear who's goin' and if we can all meet at a certain time and place that'll be cool. If plans change on my end i'll let ya know.

Steve, do you carry one of those hand held walkie talkies? If so, what channel are you on? I'll be on 7. Arriving on Wed. Doing the poker run on Thursday. Maybe we could all get together on Friday or Sat for lunch.

The twenty minute drive cross town assures that I will be there Friday and Sat. for sure. This is the one that we in the Charlotte area have been waiting for all year. This is for sure a great opportunity to meet some of my fellow SRS friends and perhaps give Denise a ride in my 35' Pontiac. You can even steer Denise, I'll push. But then you have to give me a turn to steer, ok? Lottsa good stuff here for all motorheads and I would be glad to give you a tour. Lookin forward to hearing from those of you who plan on attending.
