Kzoo was Awesome!!

You knew it was different the minute you drove onto the fairgrounds. Every where you looked there were AMERICAN flags flying. They were attached to canopys, on rods, people, in the swap area, vendor areas, everywhere! It was an awesome site. I left there with warm fuzzys inside and my faith in mankind reaffirmed. I'm sure Goodguys at Rhinebeck looked similar.

Had a great time there hanging out and chatting with George (HotRodPurplePickup), Charlie Chop, Phat Rat Jack, Dave(34_coupe)amoungest others. The weather was perfect for a change and as JT37 said, a ton of money was collected for the relief funds. We've said it here before but it bares repeating, streetrodders are the greatest group of people on this planet.

Have to agree on the happening at KZOO. Wanted to get around and meet some of you guys, but was down in the back, so pretty well stayed in the chair. Met hotrodpurpletruck at the Elvis Memorial Run at Red Barn. He probably don't remember. That was a year ago. Anyway. I'm going to the DuckTail Run. Will be camping on the hill across the street. Who knows where I will be on the grounds. I think I'm supposed to have a location for the NSRA Inspections, not sure on that one. They forgot about it last year and I just wondered around doing inspections. Anway, Outta here.

I do remember meeting you. We talked for a while one morning in Kalamazoo last year and you told me about the Blind Date Poker run/show you guys put on at the Children's Home in Goshen. You were parked in the area behind Lokar's trailer. It was a pleasure talking to you. I didn't put 2 & 2 together til now that it was you. Maybe I'll get down to your poker run on Oct 14. It sounds like a fun run to see the fall colors.

You know, since I've been on the internet, I've met so many new people....really good people, that I get stretched pretty thin at the bigger shows. I've heard others talk about this too. Its hard to spend as much time as I would like, talking to or finding all the people I know. It has been a real pleasure hanging out with the ones I did find this year. In light of what's happened in our country, I'm really counting my blessings.
