Has anyone here dealt with Tri Star Performance Transmissions in Tallmadge ohio? I'm going to change to a 700R4 in my cpe and was going to use one from TPI but then saw an ad for this place and wondered about them. Their price is considerably less for the same type of package. Any pro's or cons on either place would be appreciated.

Cant tell you about Tri Star But have used 5 TPI 700r4 with No problems in the past year.Make sure were you buy it has a dyno,(and uses it of coarse) it all but elelminates costly returns and R and R. Phat

Thanks Phat, Thats what I needed to hear, someone with some real experience with one of them. I'd decided I better go with TCI because I couldn't find out anything about Tri Star. Like they say the sweetness of a good deal can be quickly overshadowed by the sourness of a poor product, and I certainly don't want to have that.
