i purchased a set of headers from summit, when i opened the box i noticed the gaskets were broken. i e-mailed them and asked them what their policy was on something like this... they e-mailed back and said new gaskets were in the mail. sure is nice to do business with a company like that.
rickd :-)
ps. i thanked them for the good service and said i would spread the word. they e-mailed back and thanked me.

I have always had good luck with Summit and continue to use them. PAW has been very satisfactory also, but being in Illinois, Summit merchandise reaches me faster.

JEGS has treated me real well! Summit too.
Also, theres a rodder on the HAMB that sells vintage speed parts. I ordered a set of OFFY valve covers for my Ford 390 from him. He ordered them from OFFY(ran out of his stock already), took a while to get them(they came straight from OFFY), but boy do they shine! And the price was right too!
I think his web page is hotrodvintageparts.com, but im not for sure.

The only bad experiences Ive had so far getting rod products has been from e-bay individuals.
