If using the same pedal mounting point on a stock swinging pedal (70's Ford) ensure the correct pedal ratio? Am trying to mate a Geo booster to the Ford pedal.

If going to a power brake system, I would say that the usual ratio of 6 or 7 to one is not necessarily required. That ratio is usually found on standard brake systems and you'll find that with power, the pedal may be sensitive.
I have to say that since I have a handicap that requires a "hand brake", I went to Master Power Brakes universal power system with a 7 inch booster. All this on a 1600 lb car! lol At any rate, the hand control clamps to the brake arm and with no "gain" in the hand system, it's clamped about halfway up the arm and still will stop very well. Using disc front, drums rear. I don't own stock in MPB but when I talked to them about my needs, they were very helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to use their products again if necessary. Fred P

One of the best brake articles written on the web is written by a friend of mine at Hotrods USA.

Go to www.hotrodsusa.com and click on "Brake article" by Dean O. You will love the information.
