I am looking to put disc brakes in my 47 Desoto convertible.
Has any one done this? Is there a kit available for late forties mopars? I would also like to know if I would need to put on a different master cylinder assembly when going to disc brakes or could I use the stock one. Thank you

There are a couple of kits out there. Try looking at Bills or PlyDo to start with. Fat Man may have one, too. I don't think ECI does one, but he (Ralph) can tell you who does.

Be careful, though. There are two distinct suspensions used '46-'48. One for the six and the other for teh eight cylinder cars. the components are NOT interchangeable. The eight cylinder chassis/suspension is much beefier.
