Anyone going to Macungie in a couple of weeks? I'll be there, should be hanging out with the Over the Hill Gang, PA near the back side of the pool (if they get the same spot as last year)

Expect to be there Friday thru Sunday. We're usually behind the pool as well, depending on how early we get there.

It's not a game really, they just have limited space. They're already stuffed in that park. There really isn't a choice. I got in by sending in a registration form right away. Just ask a friend to make a copy, and send it in. It's worth it! I think it's $35, but, you get a glass mug, tee shirt, liscence plate, and this is just going in the gate. Then, almost everybody gets some sort of door prize. If they had room for 6,000 cars, I think they could fill it!
Just my thoughts,
Bob

Kinda like primer myself. Whats with the Oct show i just saw listed somewere? Is it at the same place? Thanks Bob

The only way you're going to get an entry number is to show up the year before, even if it's as a spectator, and pick up an application.
MAIL IT THAT DAY.

Thanks!
They have monthly criuses at that park, put on by the same club, Wheels of Time. I have never been to one yet (two hour drive), but I hear that they are nice. Maybe I'll run into you there sometime.
I'll see everyone that's planning on going at the Jamboree. I hope this nice weather holds out. It looks good right now
Have a safe trip!

The monthly cruise nights hosted by Wheels of Time have really caught on in popularity. They are held at the same location as the WOT show (Macungie Memorial Park). ---- The town is supporting the cruise nights and provides live entertainment at most of the cruise nights. They draw 800-1200 cars per cruise night now. The August cruise night was this past Saturday and turnout was high. --- Cruise nights are supposed to start at 6pm. I arrived at 5pm (NOT because I wanted to power park!) and there were already more than 250 cars there. --- September 29th is the next cruise night, then October 20th is the last of the season. --- The only downside is that lighting is minimal, so cars are not easily viewed after dark! -------------------- The "Endless Summer" show on October 21st at Macungie Park is not put on by Wheels of Time. It is a show in memory of Greg Hummer, a young rodder killed in an accident. His family and some friends started this event to ease their grief and keep Greg's memory alive. --- The show has grown tremendously in popularity over two years, and this year's event should be even larger. ------------- BTW, I hope to meet some of you gents at Macungie this weekend.

I'm going as a spectator (again). I'm not sure if I'll be there Friday or Saturday, or both days. It's an easy commute for me! --- I read your post above, so I'll look for your car where you mentioned.
