Hey Boys & Girls,Rodders & Roddettes,
Dipsticks & Lipsticks,
I still cannot find who makes or sells
a (new made) 1938 Tail lens withe the Chevy
Bow tie in it. A while back I broke one
while cleaning it. I don't remember
where they came from. I checked out
American Classic Truck parts, Chevs of the 40's,
Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Bob

Make your own? Lense material and a saw? Add a little glue and you're there!

If that is the same lens as the 33-35 passenger cars, I&I reproductions sells them.

Here's a page showing lenses from I&I's catalog. Does it look like any of these? I'd bet its the one top left in the middle.
Their website is here http://www.iandireproduction.com/ but they don't have an online catalog right now. I've got their current one

Try this, Vintage Chevrolet Parts, Cal McColum, 714-993-7510. No catalogue, no website, call, tell him what you're looking for, he'll call you back. It'll either be NOS or used if he has it. Every thing I've got from has been NOS in the original ( though deteriorated ) packaging. Good luck, Carl
