Well here it is orange barrel season again. If any of you are plaining to come thru KC this summer. Here's some web site's that might help you avoid parts of town.
I know the Power Tour and the Mid-America Nats some of you will be coming thru. Some of these construction zones will be on the interstate.
Just hate to see somebody lose something off there ride when going thru these.

www.kanroad.org and www.modot.state.mo.us

Hope this helps

Debb, Andy (SRS member) with his 35 ford, lost his whole front end about two years ago. He was on the road and he came up on a place the the road was uneven. I think they were putting new blacktop down. Anyway, he hit it and the whole mustang II front in bent.

The sites is something to think about when hitting the road.

I usally go to mapquest and print a map to where i'm going. Then go to some of the sites that have road construction, then use a red marker and transfer that on my map.

I don't know if you use any on-line maps, if you don't i use freetrip.com or mapquest.

Rick, Thanks for the heads up on this!! Sometimes we take it for granted that we'll have smooth sailing on the road and forget about all the road destruction out there!! This should prevent someone from having a big owie. Thanks again for the super info!!! Bill
