What's your Plate say??
by KustomLincolnLady
Posted: 03/16/2002 19:11 EST

Just curious, I like to read Personalized plates and just wondered what everyone had?
The plate on the Lincoln reads ONAWHIM and the plate on the 51 Pontiac we had for 12 years read LaBamba.

Thought it would be fun to share with everyone.

Not exactly fittin in with Ford and Chevy crowd, Rouge, Castoff, Missfit and Outcast, are names that I considered for my very seldom seen 35' Pontiac 3 window cpe. But Knowing it would be covered in mile deep black paint and sportin a very healthy rat motor for power, I now have found the perfect name and tag for her....BLKSHEEP.

Daryle, After a 10 year search, I found this 35' Pont. in a Kansas field, where it had been resting for some 30 years. As you might imagine, pretty she wasn't. I trailered her to Charlotte, sandblasted, primed, replaced all the wood with steel, added a 55 Chev dash and now I'm proud to say, she's almost picture worthy. I promise I'll forward some soon and thanks for askin.

KEVS 31 on the coupe.
KEVS 81 on the vette.
Not very original, but they get the point across.
Still get asked "what year is it?".
$80 for two years is still cheaper than most Bob.

I went down to the DMV and told them what I wanted my plate to say and they told me if I wanted it to say something, I would have to teach it myself because they had their hands full just making all those people wait in line and I didn't know how much work it takes to be rude to people all day.

The day I brought home my 53 Chevy, I named it Cry Havoc.
