I am happy to report that the Myrtle Beach SC car show had excellant weather and a good turnout of SRS members. In attendance at the Burger King Saturday @ 11 o'clock was Deuce 32, 35 delivery, Homebrew, LynnJ and Deuce(me).LynnJ has his wife with him. We all sat around for about 1 hour and talked and shot the breeze. I believe everyone had a good time meeting each other. Homebrew has a new project - a 40 Ford coupe. 35 delivery had the 35 repaired from the glass shop incident, and looking good. Deuce32 filled everyone in on his progress on his roadster pick-up. LynnJ has purchased a 60 T-bird but has not decided on a plan of action yet. Everyone is looking forward to doing it again. Randy

I vote we get Johnny a mask so he won't be stopped every 5 feet by somebody to talk (and a watch) LOL. It was great meeting you guys too. We had a great time too. I just think they could have changed locations so that there wasn't such a traffic jam. The sign for the weekend was "road construction next 5 miles". Randy....was that your doing???(just kidding). Anyhow it was good people, good food and great weather. On the way home we got to stop by Maurice's for some great BBQ too....what more could we ask for?? Thanks guys!

JW- I just think they could have moved the show to say Broadway at the beach's parking lot and had no traffic problems at all. I was asking them for months prior to the show about the construction and they just kept telling me that it wasn't a problem.LOL. I just think they could've opened up the other lot on Friday instead of making us park on the 3 deep "side road" that was impossible to get in and out of (call me selfish I know). What's the dates for the Auto Fair?

Is his Bar-B-Que to die for or what? Did you eat at the headquarters on 321 and 302 or one of his support locations ? Randy

HI all, I was at Myrtle run to the sun also. This was our 10th year. We go with the over 25 car club from Salisbury. Had a great time. As far as traffic goes, you have to go early and leave late. I belonged to the East Coast Cruzers for over 10 years and it's very difficult to put on a big event. Most places do not want over 300 cars. I know the Pee-Dee rodders have to work hard to keep this show going.
Remember they are all volunteers . Friends of mine built the '37 (kit car) Ford that won street rod of the year. I hope to meet some of you at Auto Fair. Regards, HonestFrank

We can chop some habanero peppers and put them in it if it's not warm enogh for ya....unless you can't handle them. I used to cook competition chili and made it to Terlingua 3 times...you're from Texas...you should know what that means.

Hey - Lipstick Girl Kathy Milne and her husband Tom, drove there and scooped Long Distance. Heard of one family that told of driving 250 miles to get to the show and they though that was plenty. My guess is Kathy & Tom drove some 2000 miles - I'm guessing now.....But I am proud of them...They had passed some 35 cars in the ditch in the snow and kept it slow and easy for a safe trip...
