Had a fantastic time at the Syracuse Nats. Hats off to the organizers! It was well run and everyone seemed to be having a great time.
The cops were a little too power hungry though. They were ticketing young guys with loitering who were hanging out to watch the cruise on Erie Blvd Friday evening. The cops were everywhere on Erie Blvd...........consequently, everyone went back to their hotels. A little harmless fun was diminished by the surplus of their presence.

WOW! Are you kidding? You should've came down to 7th North St., and the host hotel. Denise, Stupidbaker and I were watching burnouts well passed 1:30 A.M. On the way home, the stoplight at Buckley and 7th North St. had a few hundred people standing there. At that point, it was mostly locals, so you know what happened when a rod pulled up! Had to let off though, as I was turning left 100 ft. passed the light:)

I think the organizers are aware of the complaints made by citizens and cops. At the "closing ceremony" they announced that next year, flame-throwers and burnouts will be allowed on the premises under controlled conditions.
I agree it was a GREAT event!
I searched all over for Ed, as I wanted to meet him and discuss some business. Either he's VERY skinny, or he wasn't there. When I asked others about him I kept hearing "Wussie!" .... I hope his absence was not due to health/family problems.

What a great show! Met Mrwillys, Denise & Nitrofc. Couldn't believe the burnouts by the ADP Office Building, did anyone else see the 454 Divco upstage the muscle cars? Really liked the '59 Buick convert with the radically chopped removable "hardtop".

I missed it Big Al. I did here that the Divco put out one heck of a smoke screen. I walked across that street, and there must have been a three inch rubber buildup! Just crazy. Woulda liked to have seen that Mopar do a whole shot, as well as your car Al!
