Since Moparrodder had the first deck party,and since I don't have a deck,we're hosting the first SRS patio party which we hope will become an anual event!Everyone is welcome to attend and please consider this your personal invitation.It will be held at our home in South Sioux City,Nebraska on Monday August 5th to coincide with the Lipstick Gals as they travel thru.They will be spending the night and should arrive Monday afternoon.It will be just a friendly get together to enjoy some burgers and dogs on the grill,washed down with something cold to drink.Please inform me at your earliest convenience if you plan to attend so I can plan accordingly.I realize it's during the week but if you haven't met these crazy gals,it will definately be a great way to spend an evening.The weather has been very ugly with heat indexes way above 100,if this continues we'll move inside!You can post your reply here or contact info is available in my Bio.Hope lots of members can make it and enjoy what I think will be a fun afternoon/evening! George, When ya come across on I-80 and you come to I 680 it will save some time by passing Omaha through town trafic and you will be running on I-29 for a few miles and when you're at I-29 you're only about an hour and fifteen minutes from Daryle's place, if you would have a little time I know he'd love to meet ya. Just a thought, some times a guy needs a refreshing break along the way. I'm even closer but I'm a hard one to find sometimes, in the truck all day. Bill

Daryl, I'll probably be haulin' butt when I go thru Nebraska in both directions. On the way out I won't be stopping. I've got to be at Wendover, Utah by Friday afternoon, then on the way back I'm taking 3 days and Denise might be following so we might be able to stop for a break and say hi. I'll know more later. Wish I had more vacation time :-(

I'd love to go down to your party since I have been thinking of heading down there to check out your cars anyway. But that week is Sturgis week, of course, and about half the people in my office are going out there. Someone has to stay around and keep things going.

Bob...Would love to have you down if you can make it,I do understand about Sturgis Week and it is quite a drive here and home the same evening. Bowtie...we probably won't eat untill around 6:30 or so anyway,hope you can make it. Bill...Don't need to bring a thing other than anything special you'd like to drink.I will have sodas and probably a cold beer but I am not going to try and figure out what everyone likes to drink other than that.MikeJ...Hopefully I will see you and your wife this Sunday. Sounds like a great get together. Thanks for the open invite. Unfortunately, Sue and I will be in Wisconsin that weekend for her Donavan family reunion. But we are planning to get to KC in Oct for that "other" inaugual event. Consider us charter members "in absentia". Tom G.

Hey, I made it home from Syracuse, but then again, my Fiance was on guard all weekend! The only reason our record was only seven, was Denise closed it to Dipsticks and Lipsticks ONLY. If she left it open, we could EASILY have fit 13, maybe 15 in there without piling on one another. THere was plenty of space left, so, you guys should try for atleast 15 in Big Olds. Good Luck!
