Does anyone out there know if the yoke on the transmission end of the drive shaft is available in differant lenghts. Looking for a web site or someone that knows. If I could find a longer yoke, I could just change that and not have to buy a complete new drive shaft. Need to stretch this one about an inch. All help is aprecieteted

Overspray,
You didn't mention what tranny you've got. I seem to recall, from a bygone project, that there are two different yoke lengths available for the Turbo 350s and 700 R4s, think the longer one was used on some truck applications. You can probably get by if you only need an inch, but I'd be careful about having the front u-joint too far back from the rear of the trans, make sure the extension housing bushing is good or replace it. Might be just as easy to salvage yard scrounge a correct length driveshaft, or one a little long and get it cut and rebalanced.

Measure twice; cut once, ie. "I cut it three times and it's still too short"
