Bean, unless I am having another brainial infarction, it really doesn't matter whether the fan is plastic or stainless as long as they are comparable size and have equal blade pitch. The more blade pitch, the more air the fan will either push or pull. The bigger the fan, the more area of the radiator the fan will affect and consequently, the greater the cooling it will have on the radiator and engine. Hope this helps.
