Who has worked on an Edsel?

I need to do something with the exhaust right away. Duals? Glasspacks? Also thoughts on tires and wheels? It has a Express V8 332 cid (5.43 litre) in it from the factory.

PS: the fuzzy dice are already on the way!

Sorry Al...in 1959, American cars still had cubic inches. Ferin cars had liters. It is ILLEGAL to convert cubes to cc's/liters. LOL.

Any local exhaust shop should be able to take care of the duals. Wheels should be the same as Ford/Merc?

An EDSEL ?????? Even if I had worked on one,I don't think I would admit it anyone !!!! Just kidding......couldn't help myself,just another one of my moments!!! I would imagine most of the stuff you can do/use from a Ford of that era will work on the Edsel. I believe they shared a lot of parts. As far as tires/rims...as big as you stuff under it!

I watched some U joints on a wagon get changed last night at a local shop in Phx, AZ......

The guy was very lucky. The U-joint in the rear was close to blowing out. He was in AZ for the GG show from Washington state.

CID for old cars.........((-;

Fronts look like Cragar S/S.

Rears look like pretty common 5 slot/window wheels, could be Ansen, Cragar, ET-Wheels, American racing, a lot of companies made them. No one currently does, but they are on E-bay all the time. ET-Wheels has some that look even better but there pretty expensive.
