Just because it's been on event T-Shirts, Dash Plaques, in Magazines and had a Hot Wheels copy built to sell on the shelves this things worth $125K? Guess each Hot Wheels car sold is easily worth $75K a pop. LOL

just an example of the nonsense prices for rods these days.......i saw a nice common,, kookie cutter, 57 chevy on line for 85,900....duh.... no wonder we cant get many new young bloods into old american iron, hell their priced rite out....after all they can finance a new honda....but i doubt a 34 ford for 125,000....wonder what the payments would be....lol
its a real nice ride but as common as an ugly girfriend....... and with old tec stuff like a tunnel ram....give us a break

Grant, you're right that just having your car on promotional stuff and a pattern for HotWheels doesn't necessarily make it worth a fortune. My neighbor bought the Gene Winfield car that this HotWheels model was made from for way less than 20K last year.

My pickup was on a snap on calendar....that must make it worth a dollar two ninety-eight, eh?

After :-( If it was before, it would be worth a dollar two ninety nine.

I sure miss the old days when calendars had sexy wimmen. My wife's step dad died a while back and he used to run a body shop back in the '40s and '50s and he kept all the old sexy calendars in boxes. I didn't know about them until after they sold the whole mess of them for $5 at a yard sale. Her mom says there were some really good ones in there.

These are Western wheels (look familiar Denise?). That wheel you're asking about I think was made by Progressive wheel. If you want to buy some you better get your bid in now. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1872816479

Debb I am just now leaving for a little ride but not down to Ft Wayne. I think you'd better have Rob paint your bedroom purple.

Something left over from the vannin' days? Some of the four wheelers around here used them too.

"Can I bring my Torque Thrusts over?"

Abso f****n' lutely! The Westerns are serving the purpose you so graciously donated them for. They're on a garage project so that I can roll it around and for me they look fine. At least they're all the same and hold air. Heck, I might even run them for a while just to get under your skin. BUT, if you're looking for a home for the torque thrusts I'd run them on the sedan delivery...and I do need another set to roll that frame around on. I'll build a car out of your junk pile any day :-))

looks like a Western Wheel, I think they were fairly popular in around 1975 or so. A lot of vans ran them. This one looks to be about a 6 lug 15x8 ......hm I never really watched the A-team but that's gotta be Mr. T. Are we pulling legs here? lol then again, it might not ne a Western, it is cast tho.
